How information is handled on jobyweeks.com. We collect almost nothing, and what we do receive is treated with care.
This Privacy Policy describes how the Free Joby Campaign / Weeks Initiative (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Campaign”), a campaign of volunteers and supporters advocating for the case of Jobadiah Sinclair Weeks, handles information in connection with the website jobyweeks.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
The Site is a static informational and advocacy resource. We do not maintain server-side databases, user accounts, or analytics infrastructure of our own. Information we may receive falls into the following limited categories:
We do not place tracking cookies. We do not run analytics scripts. We do not maintain mailing lists. We do not sell, rent, or share information with advertisers or data brokers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Voluntary submissions are reviewed by Campaign volunteers solely for the purpose of responding to your message, processing testimony or claims, or coordinating with credentialed press. Server log information held by our hosting provider is used only for service operation and security. We retain voluntary submissions only for the period reasonably necessary to act on them or as required by law.
We do not sell your information. We may disclose information: (i) with your consent; (ii) to legal counsel in connection with the Campaign; (iii) where required by valid legal process or court order; or (iv) where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service.
Many actions a visitor can take from this Site (donating, signing the petition, watching video, listening to audio) take place on third-party platforms operated by independent companies. We have no control over those platforms' data collection, retention, or disclosure practices. Review their privacy policies before submitting any information to them. Following any link off the Site means leaving our domain; we are not responsible for the destination.
We make commercially reasonable efforts to safeguard information that comes into our possession. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaim all liability for breaches outside our reasonable control.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because we do not track visitors, no special handling is required. Third-party platforms accessed from the Site may treat such signals differently.
We may update this Policy at any time, with or without notice. The “Effective” date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
Disputes arising out of or related to this Privacy Policy are governed by Colorado law and resolved in Denver, Colorado, on the terms set out in our Terms of Service, which are incorporated here by reference.
